- We will be open and transparent about our business model and data usage as it relates to you, your Company, and any other entity that owns or pays for the data that is aggregated and maintained by our Service.
By signing up for and using SalesWise you agree to our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) which are on our website and incorporated by reference herein (that means it’s the same as if we stuck the entire Terms agreement in this one. It would be too long and we didn’t so we “incorporate them by reference”.) Signing up for and using the SalesWise Services DOES NOT CHANGE THE RIGHTS PRIVILEGES AND AUTHORITY OF WHOMEVER OWNS THE DATA THAT IS AGGREGATED BY THE SERVICE. This means that data you own will continue to be owned by you and that data (such as email, documents, and confidential corporate information) that is owned by the Company you may work for or any other entity IS NOT ALTERED OR CHANGED IN ANY WAY. So, if your company has the right to shut you out of your email or read your email, SalesWise does not impact these rights, the ownership, and the terms and conditions between you and any third party owner of any data that is aggregated and/or stored by SalesWise.
Privacy is Your Call.
SalesWise offers a unique way to share business and/or contact information with other people or entities. When you share information with SalesWise, you will often be sharing a collection of information and you should be very careful to make sure you understand exactly what you are sharing. Once information is shared with others, SalesWise is no longer in control over how that data and information may be used and is not responsible for such third party usage of potentially private data.
SalesWise connects to different data providers that your company may be using such as Google, Microsoft, and Salesforce. We request access to email, calendar and CRM data via open authentication (Oauth) authorization and the public APIs offered by the respective providers. The data is used to create and fill in the SalesWise Cards, which have been automatically organized into separate Cards for each account in the CRM or other domain provided by your company for the purposes of creating and organizing Card data. We collected data in aggregated or anonymized forms to understand usage trends and improve our product. Data is stored encrypted within the Google Cloud Platform and is not shared outside of your company unless you request it within the application. We use various analytics products to ensure we are focusing our efforts on improving the product with alignment to where our customers are finding value.
We respect your privacy rights and provide you with reasonable access to the Data that you may have provided through your use of the Services. If you wish to access or amend any other Data we hold about you, or to request that we delete or transfer any information about you that we have obtained from the Service, you may contact us as set forth in the “How to Contact Us” section. At your request, we will have any reference to you deleted or blocked in our database. You may update, correct, or delete your Account information and preferences at any time by contacting our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that while any changes you request will be reflected in active user databases within a reasonable period of time, we may retain all information you submit for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, satisfaction of legal obligations, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so. You may decline to share certain Data with us, in which case we may not be able to provide to you some of the features and functionality of the Service. At any time, you may object to the processing of your Data, on legitimate grounds, except if otherwise permitted by applicable law. If you believe your right to privacy granted by applicable data protection laws has been infringed upon, please contact SalesWise’s Data Protection Officer at email@example.com. You also have a right to lodge a complaint with data protection authorities.
